DP: The company of the son-in-law of the SP MP is destroying roads to build villas for the rich
The Democratic Party denounces that the company of Kujtim Qefalia's son-in-law, former mayor of Dajt municipality and brother of MP Xhemal Qefalia, is destroying roads to build villas for the wealthy in Farka.
The spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Department of the Democratic Party, Genta Vangjeli, said in a statement to the media that in addition to the road, several houses were damaged and environmental damage was caused by indiscriminate interference in the village hills.
She added that the Democratic Party will file criminal charges against those responsible for the road collapse and the environmental massacre denounced a few days ago by several residents living near Lake Farka in Tirana.
Full statement:
Building villas for the richest, and demolishing the roads and houses of the village's poor, is something only Edi Rama's power-grabbing sons-in-law do.
Who doesn't stir them up because they 'belong to the government' and share the fat profits and villas with the government officials?
The complaint comes from the residents of the village of Farkë, whose access has been restricted due to the collapse of the road near the villa complex being built by Kujtim Qefalia's son-in-law, former mayor of Dajt municipality and brother of MP Xhemal Qefalia.
In addition to the road, several houses were damaged and environmental damage was caused by indiscriminate interference in the village hills.
The Democratic Party will file criminal charges against those responsible for the road collapse and environmental massacre denounced a few days ago by several residents living near Lake Farka in Tirana.
According to residents, the trading company 'Al Point' shpk, owned by Aleksandër Vasili, who is the son-in-law of Dajti's socialist administrator, Kujtim Qefalia, is working on the construction of a villa complex near the lake.
In this area, the ground has suffered a landslide, causing the collapse of the road and damage to houses in the area.
Residents said that the works were carried out at night and without any criteria, no information boards in violation of the law, and according to them, the construction workers arrived at night and started work, terrorizing the area and destroying everything around.
'Al Point' shpk, in addition to the negative record in its activity history, with 14 measures to impose seizures on the company's shares, has occupied the Dajti area where it has carried out works:
-Dajti Street, Building next to the Qesarake Bar
-4 Dëshmoret Street near the '4 Dëshmoret' School;
-Dajt Municipality, Near the 9th Grade School, Qesarak, 5-story residential building;
-DAJT; Residential and service building 5 floors + 2 floors underground, near Fresku Restaurant; '
-DAJT; Shkoze, residential and service building 4 floors + 1 underground floor;
-DAJT; Tufine, near the state polyclinic: Residential and service building 5 floors + attic + 1 underground floor;
– TIRANA; Residential and Services Building 2,6 and 7 Floors with 2 and 3 Underground Parking Floors, Dibra Street, Administrative Unit No. 4, Tirana;
-TIRANA; Ali Shefqeti Street, Residential and services building 1.6 and 7 floors with 2 floors of underground parking;
-TIRANA; Residential and service building, 5 floors and 1 underground floor, 5 Maji 4 Neighborhood;
-TIRANA, Ali Shefqeti Street, Residential and services building 1.6 and 7 floors with 2 floors of underground parking;
The icing on the cake is the reconstruction tender that Erjon Veliaj was awarded with a full 4.9 million euros for building 19 in the 5 May area.
Recently, on November 20, this company obtained a construction permit for a 44-story building on 'Asim Vokshi' Street in Tirana.
The government and its local government cronies, after taking Tirana's breath away, have been busying themselves on the hills surrounding it to occupy every meter of land and extract every last penny from Albania's public assets.
This is the face of 'Albania 2030' that Edi Rama offers: villas and abuses for those in power, a foot on the throat of the defenseless.
Let's wait for the big day on May 11th, before it's too late!
