Many family members, friends and colleagues have commemorated today on his birthday, former president Bujar Nishani, who passed away a few months ago, before turning 56 years old.

In a commemorative ceremony on the birthday of former President Bujar Nishani, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and the leader of the Freedom Party, former president Ilir Meta, were also present. They sat next to the family members of the deceased Nishani, who appeared in tears, while a documentary dedicated to the life and work of Nishani was also shown.

Nishani passed away on May 28 of this year in a hospital in Germany.

Nishani suffered from an autoimmune disease in the liver and did not manage to overcome the consequences that the Covid 19 virus left in the body.
