The vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, said that the July 11 protest organized by the opposition proved that there is anger in Albania and that the citizens demand political rotation, as a guarantee for their vote. 

According to Boçi, speaking on Syri TV, the majority is trying to block the opposition through the changes made to the Electoral Code with Rama's opposition on June 5.

The protest proved that there is anger in Albania, citizens are revolted and political rotation is required. And this is felt in all areas and there is no argument for the government to continue to govern, because their reforms have not yielded results. Without political rotation, a technical government is needed.

Rama has built a machine to buy the vote, blackmailing and attacking the country's democratic system. This government must stay at a distance from the vote, and through the technical government this was proven in North Macedonia, which guaranteed a free vote. The obstacle of coalitions, their disallowance is in violation of the Constitution.

The change was made in an accelerated manner by Rama's opposition, because it removes the right of small parties to be included in the lists and the right to create coalitions.
