The bust of dictator Hoxha, 'Group 90': The same as 32 years ago, the same spirit of persecution

Today marks 32 years since the fall of the dictator Enver Hoxha's bust. The chairman of "Group 90", Ajet Ramçaj, said in a statement to the media that today when Albania is living in democracy, it is the same spirit of persecution as 32 years ago.

Ramçaj says that the Rama government in its 10 years in power has deliberately sent away 900 thousand people.

He emphasized that the "Group 90" will stand by the Democratic Party, as the party that brought pluralism to Albania.

Ramcaj's statement:

On the 32nd anniversary of the fall of the bloodthirsty dictator "Enver Hoxha", the Democratic Party commemorates the day when the students rose up against the most brutal regime that time had seen after the Second World War.

It was that regime which destroyed generations of young people, intellectuals, families and personalities, destroying their future for 50 years.

Today in democracy, it is the same spirit of persecution. Today, the Rama government in its 10 years in power has made it possible with full awareness to remove over 900 thousand people, about 35% of the population of Albania.

As if to remember the 90s, even today the majority of Albanians suffer for their bread.

We see it every day, when we face that generation that fought hard for a better life and today they are rewarded by the state with kacidhe and packages that are given as alms by the government.

And it is Edi Rama who consciously does this, to impoverish a people whom tomorrow he can buy with a little money' with the sole purpose of staying in power as long as possible.

It is the same mentality as that of the years of the dictatorship where the tollon was a flyer to quench hunger for a few hours, even today, propaganda resembles that tollon, where the government tries to deceive the citizens.

"Group '90" is a partner organization that will stand by the side of the Democratic Party, the first pluralist party in Albania, the one that brought democracy to Albania and recognized victories even in times of great challenges.
