Shehu: Rama should not censor the resolution on the Serbian genocide in Kosovo

Democratic Party MP Tritan Shehu has expressed that Prime Minister Edi Rama should not censor the resolution on the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.

In a reaction on Facebook, he writes that Albania with that resolution will begin to take its position on the side of truth.

"Especially now we need this! For over a year, the majority has not allowed the parliamentary debate on the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. This is the constitutional right of the applicants, a long-term need, the current necessity. Because this is where the problems begin, with that genocide and oppression.

And without accepting it, without asking for forgiveness from Serbia, the conflict will always remain ready to be "ignited" even if it will temporarily seem "dormant"! European history has shown this, this period since 1999 has reconfirmed it. Therefore, first of all, we must be direct, concrete, clear. This is also required by zig-zags, oscillations, handshakes, smiles... But with "stones in the way" in the concrete steps until today.

With that Resolution, Albania will begin to take its necessary position, on the side of truth, "lost" since 2014, it will once again make a contribution...

Rama, by not allowing the truth to be spoken in the Parliament, by "suffocating" it, seriously damages it, camouflages the reality. This must now be changed, it is a necessity to be done. Not only that we are Albanians and we cannot remain artificially "cold", as if what is happening belongs to another "planet".

Or even worse, don't miss any chance without trying to "make up" Serbia! Let Vucic rise to the pedestal of the ridiculous European champion in the Region!

Kosovo be anathema! When the truth is the opposite! And we must be on the side of truth, which is with Kosovo! Any contrary attitude of ours, especially as Albanians, has and will have far-reaching negative consequences for Kosovo, Albanians and the Region ", he writes.
