The Democratic Party has released a video showing the coverage of the McGonigal scandal by foreign media. The video was published during the statement to the media of the organizational head of the DP, Klevis Balliu.

The latter pointed out that "a global agent scandal is being discussed, analyzed and investigated around the world, which involves the threads of the KGB with double agents, in which Edi Rama is involved, mentioned and has a fundamental role". 

He further underlines that, unlike other countries, in Albania the coverage and not the investigation of this scandal that endangers the diplomatic relations between Albania and the USA is required. The investigations have revealed that Rama paid to harm the opposition in Albania.

"For the same services, agent McGonigal was paid by Putin's oligarch who is a strategic investor of Rames. Rama and Oleg Deripaska have the same forms of holding power, which stem from strangling the opponent. In a normal country today, Justice would have reacted and investigated, but here there is a shameful silence" , added Balliu.
