Tabaku denounces the scandal: A 5-year-old girl has been detained

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, raised concern about how it was possible to keep a 5-year-old girl in custody after the demolition of the buildings in the "5 Maji" neighborhood.

This concern was raised by the deputy during the parliamentary session before the Ombudsman.

"Actually, I had filed a series of questions, some of which you answered during your presentation. I want to thank you for the cooperation we had together in the National Integration Council, also for the fact that you are one of the most serious in fact that is presented there, and the cooperation we have had for human rights, and I want to focus only on two topics that you touched on, but I hope to have a little more information:
- How has the implementation of the new judicial map affected , access to justice for citizens.
Is there more access to justice or less access to justice today in terms of this aspect?

-Secondly, you explained very clearly the selection process of the members of the HCJ and the KLP, and I believe that your position on this was very clear, in terms of merit assessment and the system that was followed by the parliament and the delays that there was a parliament. I want to congratulate you that despite all the difficulties, your institution has passed the stage that belongs to this institution and all the problems have resulted from the parliament.
As the report "Rule of Law" says, the delays in the appointment of members of the KLP and the KLJ have extended the mandate of the current leaders and created the possibility and predispositions for the capture of these two bodies by the majority, a matter for which you were clear and I have no other questions.

In the meantime, I wanted us to focus a little on the problems regarding the process of legalization, construction, card permits for real estate. Together we had a very long communication about the event of May 5, about the demolition of the constructions there, but also from the human rights point of view, I raised the concern that a 5-year-old girl was kept in custody during the demolition of these constructions, and I wanted your comment on this process", said Tabaku.
