Tabaku meets with Tirana businesses: Tax cuts bring increased consumption

Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, was today in a meeting with citizens and businesses on Hajdar Hidi and Islam Alla streets in Tirana, where she discussed with them the main concerns regarding the economic crisis.

Tabaku argued that the current crisis in consumption is mainly due to the decline in citizens' incomes, significantly reducing purchasing power and directly damaging business.

In the conversation with businesses, the MP explained that high taxes are among the main causes of price increases.

She emphasized that over 50% of the fuel price paid by citizens are taxes, and proposed their immediate reduction as a solution to reduce costs and increase consumption.

At the end of the meeting, Tabaku offered her vision for a small state with low taxes and a government that really works for Albanians, calling on citizens to vote on May 11 for economic policies that bring prosperity and economic development.
