The historic leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting today with DP structures and supporters in the city of Fier, as part of a national tour to mobilize the opposition.

At the DP headquarters in Fier, Berisha was welcomed by hundreds of supporters who chanted his name and waved party flags, giving a clear signal of growing enthusiasm among the opposition.

Alongside Berisha was MP Gazment Bardhi, the political leader of the Fier district, who has had a prominent role in denouncing the government and organizing opposition actions.

In his speech to those present, Berisha gave a strong message about the need for unity and mobilization of all democrats, describing Fier as an important bastion of resistance to the current regime.

Opposition supporters in Fier have considered this visit as a "new breath" for the Democratic Party in the south of the country and an indication that the party is returning to the field with more energy and determination.

MP Bardhi emphasized that confronting the government requires organization in every branch and the involvement of all members and supporters, to build the alternative that citizens expect.
