Prime Minister Edi Rama declares that Albania will soon be the Switzerland or Austria of the Balkans.

Speaking during the presentation of the electoral program for the infrastructure of "Albania 2030", Rama stated that there will be two class A highways that are European corridors. Regarding the Blue Corridor, he said that it is a road that will increase the economy and a necessary road to achieve the goal of Albania being the champion country of tourism in the Balkan region.

"Now we will have two class A highways that are a European corridor. When we launched the Blue Corridor, they made fun of us: I don't know anything about painting, etc. But this road will increase the economy and is a necessary road given that we clearly aim to be the champion country of tourism in the Balkans."

"All these roads are veins and arteries that we have built all these years, they make sense because they are all connected to each other. It is not that we found a path and we put a road in vain, to get votes. It is a network of veins that has given breathing space to the entire country.
