Rama called him a tourist, LaCivita reacts: It's laughable! 12 years as

DP electoral campaign strategist Chris LaCivita has reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement, calling him a "tourist who will spend some money in our country."

Invited to Opinion, LaCivita said that this is laughable, because according to him, Rama will talk about everything in these elections except for the 12 years of his government.

"Once again. Edi Rama in these elections will talk about everything except his 12 years of governance. He has been prime minister for 12 years and is he attacking me? I find it laughable. I am not a tourist. I come here for work," he said.

He was further asked why the head of the Albanian government enjoys this support from the international community.

"I think the discussion is not and should not be about Europe. The discussion should be about Albanian voters and how they feel about their future. How can they afford basic goods so that young people do not think about leaving Albania because they cannot find jobs here. These are the issues that matter. These are the issues that Edi Rama should talk about. The best answer to this and what people need to understand is: can you trust a man who made things so unaffordable during these 12 years to fix them and move to 2030? I don't think so. Why would you put someone in power who made things so difficult, to solve the problems that he created himself?! It makes no sense!" , LaCivita replied.

Regarding Rama's relationship with President Donald Trump, he emphasized that " it will be seen in the future, as there is currently nothing concrete."
