Vangjeli: Lezha Municipality seizes citizen's property allegedly to turn it

The spokesperson for corruption in the DP, Genta Vangjeli, through a statement to the media, once again brought to mind the case of Mrs. Betulla Veli Dhana, who a few days ago filed a complaint with the Democratic Party regarding her property with a surface area of 56 m2, located on the first floor of building no. 98 in Gurra Neighborhood, Lezha, confirmed by the ownership certificate.

Statement:

The reconstruction process, like for many other citizens, also affected a citizen of Lezha .

Ms. Betulla Veli Dhana a few days ago filed a complaint with the Democratic Party regarding her property with a surface area of 56 m2, located on the first floor of building no. 98 in Gurra Neighborhood, Lezha, confirmed by the ownership certificate.

This legal property of hers was quietly used as a commercial unit by Ms. Dhana until the earthquake struck in 2019, which damaged it according to verifications by the relevant commissions, although according to the complainant, the premises were not damaged enough to be demolished.

Thus, the same building that had No. 98 was rebuilt, on the first floor of which there was also the same commercial unit, which has remained empty since the reconstruction.

In anticipation of regaining her legal property and as the only means by which she ensures family income, Ms. Dhana, through her lawyer, initially addressed the Municipality of Lezha, and representatives of other institutions, and their response was: The government's decision on how to proceed with this commercial unit will be made.

The same request was addressed to Prime Minister Rama and the promise was that they would receive a response soon...

The ping pong ball with the property and bread of the common citizen continued….

Ms. Simonele Floriri, introduced as the Director of Reconstruction at the Municipality of Lezha, verbally explained to the interested party that this commercial unit would become a daycare center for the community and a decision was made for this by the Municipality institution, and for further information Ms. Dhana had to be addressed in writing.

According to this message, the complainant sent a request for information which ended up in the hands of the director of the Urban Planning Office at the Municipality of Lezha, but without success, the answer was the same: the government's decision should be issued.

Then the lady is redirected to CM Rama but even after the response, there is no solution for the recovery of Mrs. Dhana's commercial property.

She emphasized that she learned from unofficial sources that her property will become a kindergarten and a palace will be built on the site where the kindergarten used to be.

Finally, Ms. Dhana addressed the investigative bodies regarding the violations identified.

That the Albanian state under the leadership of Edi Rama does not protect the property of citizens is a fact. On the contrary, it is a fact.

Edi Rama with his "successful" reconstruction program answers the question:

What should Mrs. Bedulla Veli Dhana do to get back her legitimate property that she feeds on?

Edi Rama lives in a palace for himself but doesn't give ordinary people what they deserve...
