Vasili on Rama's promises for salary increase: He does not know the law, it is an electoral decision
The vice-president of the Freedom Party, Petrit Vasili, has stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama has violated the law for the promises he made to increase salaries and pensions on the eve of the elections.
He stated that in the electoral code it is clearly defined that no act can be issued before the elections that foresees an increase in salaries, pensions, economic aid or other actions of an economic nature.
"The electoral code has been violated. As never before, such clear specifications have been put in the Code... the relevant point says 'it is prohibited to propose, approve or issue acts that foresee salary increases, pensions, assistance, etc. Only in case of natural disaster or exceptional cases. Regarding the pensioners' 50,000 leksh, we are extremely happy. But why didn't he give it to the pensioners while compensating all his tenderers?! What does this mean? Electoral! This is an unfeasible and shameful decision.
Was "Presige" destroyed without law? In this case, it is not the most serious thing, that Ishalla should give for pensioners, but the problem is that Albanians must understand that they have a man who is against the law himself", said Vasili.
