Xhaferraj to the protesters: We will free this country from the narco-state

The chairman of the Youth Forum in the Democratic Party, Besart Xhaferri, spoke at the protest held against the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj and his corrupt affairs.

In his speech, Xhaferri said that the October 7 protest was the biggest protest held in the last 34 years and that they will continue to protest to free the country from corruption and crime and achieve free elections.

His statement:

We thank you for the 30th time you have come to this square, but above all we thank you for the maximum participation, not only you here, but all Albanian citizens who made the protest of October 7 the biggest protest in these 34 years.

This protest is only the first chapter.

We are hostages of those protestors and not hostages of oligarchs, gangs, crime, corruption or dirty money that they want to clean up.

We are hostages of the free and honest citizens of this country who definitely want to free the country from the narco-state, they want to free the election from their theft.

 We are a hostage of Kujtim Emir, who was burned and persecuted, and even though he was old, he told us: "Don't make the mistake of leaving civil disobedience in the middle."

 We thank the actress who, like her father, has not sold any cause, unlike any other actor who lined up from a zdroms of Tirana's bashisa.

We are also hostages of our co-protesters who are currently in custody or in prison.
