The head of FRPD, Besart Xhaferri, has criticized the Albanian government for its silence on Kosovo's possible membership in the Council of Europe.

In a post on Facebook, Xhaferri writes that Rama, who appeals and claims to mediate other conflicts, has decided not to talk about Aleksandër Vucic's threats against Kosovo.

Xhaferri adds that this silence of official Tirana tarnishes the Albanian state.

"Aleksandër Vucic and the Serbian diplomatic machinery have been lobbying and threatening for weeks to prevent Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will vote on the report on the eventual membership of Kosovo in this organization during the plenary session that will be held in Strasbourg this Tuesday afternoon.

For this extremely important event for Kosovo, what stands out is the insidious and treacherous silence of Official Tirana.

Our prime minister, who appeals and claims to mediate the Russia-Ukraine, or Israel-Palestine conflict, has chosen to remain silent on this issue, proving that he is a lowly vassal of Aleksandar Vučić.
