Xixho reveals Veliaj: Astiri without school again this year

The vice-president of the Freedom Party, Erisa Xixho, through a denunciation, has shown how the mayor Erion Veliaj lies about the built schools.

From Astiri, Xixho said that even this year the children of this area do not have their own school.

Xixho added that the municipality of Tirana has budgeted 17 schools, but has built only 9 of them. She emphasizes that at the pace she is following, she is many years away from fulfilling the capital's urgent need for new schools.

As you can see, even this school year, thousands of children from this neighborhood will travel to the center, at the peak of traffic, increasing the cost of transportation in the parents' pockets, because the Municipality of Tirana needs the money for the 5D company and the phantom incinerator.

Instead of having their own school, they overload other schools, making it mandatory to teach in 2 shifts, which mayor Veliaj promised years ago that he would put an end to.

The residents of Astir have paid the education tax, which collected 66.1 million euros in 8 years! They paid but did not receive the service they deserve!
