Voting continues in the municipality of Kukës.

41.58 percent of Kuksians exercised their right to vote until 17:00, according to the data of the Central Election Commission, two hours before the end of the official voting schedule.

The candidate of the Socialist Party, Albert Halilaj, and the candidate of the "Bashkë Fitomje" coalition, Emri Vata, are in the race to take over the leadership of the municipality of Kukes.

The partial elections in Kukës take place after the video-scandal involving the former mayor Safet Gjici, just a few weeks after he won the May 14 elections.
