The Assembly has postponed the vote on the draft law on the salaries of judges of the Constitutional Court. Çuç's proposal was voted by the socialist majority, while it received 2 votes against from the opposition.

"Based on Article 49/1, I request that the law we have today for the Constitutional Court, which requires 3/5, be postponed and be held in another session," said Çuçi.

The Socialists could not get the 85 votes required for this bill.

We remind you that this draft law stipulates that the salary of the judge of the Constitutional Court should be equal to the salary of the President of the Supreme Court.

With the proposed changes, the salary now becomes 96% of the president's salary, plus 58% extra due to the special nature of the work. So the salary of the member of the Constitutional Court becomes 644 thousand ALL.

While the head of the Court has an additional 20% due to his position and his salary reaches 773 thousand ALL.
