It is about the book "The Idea of Freedom and 'Self-Determination" by Rita Augestad Knudsen, the wife of the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, and on this occasion, the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, which translated the book into Serbian, organized a discussion on Vetëvendosje.
The author, who joined the conference through Zoom, thanked the organizers for translating and organizing the conversation on the topic of the right to Vetëvendosje.
In addition to Sonja Biserko, the meeting was attended by the director of the Forum for Ethnic Relations, Dusan Janjic, and a professor at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, Dragan Djukanovic.
Director of the Kosovo Institute for Research and Development (KIPRED), Dr. Lulzim Peci, professor at the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo, Nerzuk Curak, and professor at the Faculty of Law in Podgorica, Srdjan Darmanovic, joined the conversation via the Internet.
The author, among other things, said that she expects that the concept of self-determination, the meaning, and concept of which is changing, will return to international politics.
