Anti-drug action in Pogradec, the police destroyed over 600 cannabis plants

A 31-year-old man was arrested in Pogradec, in the village of Talle, as he was allegedly responsible for planting 610 narcotic plants, cannabis.

The police also seized a shotgun and ammunition.

A case of cultivation of narcotic plants has been reported in the village of Talle. 610 cannabis sativa narcotic plants are destroyed.

A 31-year-old man who was caught in the act taking care of narcotic plants is put in handcuffs.

1 shotgun and combat ammunition were seized, which were found on the land where the narcotic plants were cultivated.

In implementation of the measures defined in the national operational plan "Clean Territory", for the prevention, evidence and attack of the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants, the services of the Pogradec Police Station have intensified field controls, based on police intelligence. As a result of the controls, in the place called "Uji i Ftohte", in the village of Talle, 610 narcotic cannabis sativa plants were found cultivated, which were destroyed by burning.

During the control of the territory, 1 shotgun and combat ammunition were found, which were seized as material evidence, together with 2 mobile phones.

Following the actions for this case, citizen DS, 31 years old, resident in the village of Çermë-Sektor, Divjakë, was arrested in the act.

Investigative actions continue to identify other citizens involved in this case of cultivation of narcotic plants.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Korçë General Jurisdiction, for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in collaboration and "Production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons without permission".
