Accused of drug trafficking, GJKKO upholds the sentence for Tahir's former

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has upheld the sentence for the former bodyguard of Saimir Tahir, Hekuran Marku.

Mark was sentenced to 13 years in prison, but due to the shortened trial, his sentence was reduced to 8 years and 8 months in prison. The former bodyguard is accused of the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", in cooperation, in the form of a structured criminal group.

Mark was caught as part of the investigations for the "Spirit" operation and was arrested on April 1, 2022 in Germany.
