A 43-year-old man has been arrested by the police of Elbasan, after it is accused that an arsenal of weapons and ammunition, cocaine and fake license plates were discovered in a premises owned by him.

The implementation of the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan "Rule of Law" continues with intensity. Firearms, pistols, hunting weapons, sporting weapons, military ammunition, shells, knives, cocaine and 2 fake vehicle registrations were seized.

The 43-year-old man who had hidden them, in the premises owned by him, was arrested in the act. The 43-year-old, member of a criminal group, suspected of committing serious criminal offenses. During the operation, it was discovered that this citizen had built an object without permission. The Narcotics Investigation Sector of DVP Elbasan, in implementation of the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan "Rule of Law", for the prevention and suppression of criminal activities in the field of illegal possession of weapons and any other form of their manifestation, has organized and finalized in cooperation with the Operational Force and Special Force "Eqiponja", the coded police operation "Quadrangle". Based on the information provided by the police intelligence, about a 43-year-old man who possessed firearms, shotguns, combat ammunition, as well as narcotics without permission, in the business premises owned by him, the Police services have intervened in several premises (inert point, car cemetery, cattle stable) where as a result they found hidden: 1 firearm, pistol, 1 hunting gun, 1 sports weapon, combat ammunition, 1 shell, 1 knife, a quantity of narcotic cocaine and 2 fake vehicle registrations , which were seized as material evidence.

Further, the Police services discovered that the possessor of weapons and illegal items had built an object without a permit.

At the end of the actions, the citizen IM, 43 years old, a resident of Peqin, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Production, possession, illegal purchase or sale of cold weapons", "Unauthorized production and possession of hunting and sports weapons", "Illegal employment", "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms". Also, for this occasion, several other citizens were accompanied to the Police premises. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance, of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
