Debate in the committee on "TIMS"/ Salianji-majorance: In three months

With debates between the MPs of the opposition and those of the majority, the meeting of the Investigative Commission for interventions in the TIMS system was held today.

The Chairman of the Commission, Ervin Salianji, invited the majority to prepare a joint final report, while accusing them of not being active participants in the meetings of "TIMS".

"In the 3 months of work that this commission was, 2 months you were in the toilet. None of you have read the report. Do you want to come out with a final report or do you only have objections", asked Salianji, as the members of the majority have prepared another report.

Among other things, Salianji said that SP members refused to call Edi Rama and former minister Bledi Çuçi as witnesses.

The opposition report also states that although most of the testimonies were not state secrets, it was decided that the testimonies would take place behind closed doors.

" The members of the SP refused to call Edi Rama, although his name was mentioned in the administered documentation and the testimonies received. The members of the majority also refused to call the former Minister of the Interior Bledar Cuci.

The members of the majority decided that the testimonies should be taken behind closed doors even though in most cases the testimonies did not contain state secrets", said Salianji, among other things.

Toni Gogu: If the report you have prepared is what you have said throughout the commission's activity, it will be the report of the minority. We have another report prepared by another group of experts. If you want to vote, let's continue. If you want to read your report, go ahead, but it must be voted on to be a committee report.

Ervin Salianji: We have prepared a report that is dignified for the commission. If you have another report, make it available for us to read

Xhemal Qefalia: If you have forgotten the report on behalf of the commission, you should have made it available to us.
