Donnarumma's horrific injury leaves PSG goalkeeper with 10 stitches in face

Gianluigi Donnarumma, the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper and starter in his team's last five games, was substituted due to injury in the 20th minute of the Ligue 1 match against Monaco after taking a kick to the face from Singo's foot.

The Italian national team goalkeeper remained lying on the ground and was monitored for about three minutes, while Achraf Hakimi informed the bench led by Luis Enrique Martínez of the need to replace the goalkeeper.

A few minutes later, Donnarumma left the field on his own two feet, accompanied by the Parisian club's medical staff. He was replaced by Matvey Safonov.

In photos released after the match, it can be seen that the PSG goalkeeper has at least 10 stitches on the right side of his face.
