Four Albanian citizens and a Bulgarian who trafficked cocaine worth 200 million pounds in Great Britain have been sentenced to prison.

British authorities managed to seize in 2021 one of the largest amounts of drugs, a full 2.3 tons of cocaine in a shipment of bananas from Colombia, and then tracked down the criminal group that had organized the traffic.

The court in Britain has sentenced the Bulgarian Petko Zhutev to 27 years in prison for his "leading" role in the criminal organization.

Albanians Erik Muci, 45, and 40-year-old Olsi Ebeja from Kosovo were sentenced to 33 years in prison and 17 years in prison, respectively.

While the Albanians Bruno Kuci, 32, was sentenced to 21 years in prison, as well as 34-year-old Gjergji Diko to 18 years in prison.
