A serious incident occurred in the village of Godolesh, Elbasan, where a 49-year-old man physically abused his wife and attempted to attack their 10-year-old son with an axe.

Thanks to police intervention, the aggressor was arrested in flagrante delicto, preventing the situation from escalating.

According to the official police announcement, the arrested person is citizen Sh. V., 49 years old, who is already in handcuffs and procedural actions will continue against him. The investigative materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Court of First Instance for further actions.

The police call for the reporting of any case of domestic violence and guarantee immediate response to protect victims of violence.
