Known dead in Latin America in 2003, the dangerous Albanian is arrested in the USA

A 54-year-old Albanian with 3 names was arrested in the USA and deported to Albania.

The arrested person is Leonard Mnella alias Leon Kolmnela alias Leonard Kolmnela, 54 years old, who turns out to have been sentenced in Italy to 25 years in prison for cooperation in a criminal organization, kidnapping, attempted extortion, violation of the law on weapons and drug trafficking in quantities big.

Deported to Albania, to face charges for several serious criminal offences, a 54-year-old internationally wanted man, who in 2013 managed to be declared dead through a judicial decision issued by an Albanian Court in 2003, in Latin America. 

The 54-year-old, convicted by the Italian judicial authorities, with 25 years of imprisonment, for several criminal offences. 

The Criminal Police Department, in close cooperation with the DSS/OCIU Agency (Diplomatic Security Service/Criminal Investigation Unit) at the United States Embassy in Tirana and with the other US federal agency DHS/ICE-ERO (Department of Homeland Security/Agency law enforcement of Immigration and Customs), for some time have been working together for the localization and arrest of the Albanian citizen wanted internationally:

Leonard Mnella alias Leon Kolmnela alias Leonard Kolmnela, 54 years old. 

The Court of Salerno, Italy, has sentenced this citizen to 25 years of imprisonment for cooperation in a criminal organization, kidnapping, attempted extortion, violation of the law on weapons and drug trafficking in large quantities. 

Leonard Mnella will be the subject of investigations in Albania, for criminal events that happened some time ago in Albania.  

This citizen, while on the run, in 2013, managed to declare himself dead in 2003, in Latin America, through a judicial decision issued by an Albanian Court. 

The Criminal Police Department, in cooperation with the two American agencies, through the information exchanged, managed to identify, locate and arrest the Albanian citizen Leonard Mnela, in Michigan, United States, and made possible his deportation to Albania.

The work will continue, in cooperation with the prosecution, for the in-depth investigation of the criminal activities carried out by this citizen.
