One day after handing over the mandate of deputy Jurgis Çyrbja, he was taken as a defendant by the Special Prosecutor's Office, under the charge of abuse of office.

The burning was reported by the democratic deputy Edi Paloka, who accuses him of having used his position as the head of the Durrës Mortgage in 2021, to distribute legalization permits during the election campaign.

Çyrbja is accused of favoring Emiljano Shullazi in order to benefit from properties in Durrës.

Now the former socialist deputy has claimed that the handover of the mandate is not related to the call to SPAK, but to some health problems of his own.
