The former head of the Accreditation Board of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, Shqiponja Telhaj, reacted after her name was mentioned in the Italian file of the scandal with fake diplomas from Albania in Italy. 

In the file it is said that in order to receive the accreditation of Wisdom University in Tirana, the Italians awarded the head of the Accreditation Board of the Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education with a 'Louis Vuitton' bag.

In a reaction on social networks, Telhaj rejected the claims in the investigation file and calls them slander, since according to her, she has not received any gift from any representative of foreign or Albanian universities.

"Eagle (Aquila) Telhaj has never had even a cup of coffee and has never accepted any gift from any representative of foreign or Albanian universities. I expect the official authorities and the media that have mentioned my name without any facts regarding the file of the University of Wisdom (whose representatives I have never known) to apologize for the defamation", she writes.
