The dollar today marks its lowest level in three years

The dollar hit its lowest level against the euro in more than three years on Friday.

The US dollar index is now down 1.2% to 99.50, marking its lowest level since April 2022.

Earlier, China announced additional tariffs on US products of 125%, according to Reuters. This is higher than the previous level of 84%.

China's Ministry of Finance reportedly stated that if the US insists on continuing to fundamentally violate China's interests, China will take decisive countermeasures and fight to the end.
