"Partizani" file/ GJKKO rejects Jamarbër Malltez's request

The Special Court of Appeal has rejected Jamarbër Malltez's request to revoke the security measure in the framework of the investigations into the "Partizani" file.

Malltezi requested the replacement or removal of the "house arrest" security measure, but the appellate panel of the GJKKO decided to leave the first instance decision in force.

Malltezi has been under "house arrest" since November 2023 after being accused of passive corruption, committed in collaboration with the "Partizani" file. He was released from this security measure by decision of Judge Ilirjana Olldashi, who changed the first instance decision, releasing him from prison. Also implicated in the file, according to the prosecution, are the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and businessman Fatmir Bektashi.
