"Bayraktar" drones have arrived in Albania. Assembly has started two days ago and their installation at the NATO base in Kuçovo will be done at the same time.
The news about the arrival of the drones was given by the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi.
"Bayraktar drones, known for their efficiency and advanced technology, are now in Albania!
For two days, the assembly has started and in parallel, the installation of the supporting infrastructure for their operation and control is being carried out.
This development not only increases Albania's defense capabilities, but also serves as evidence of the country's commitment to guarantee national security and meet the highest defense standards.
This achievement is a symbol of our dedication to modernization and innovation in our Armed Forces" , writes Peleshi.
On December 20, 2022, Prime Minister Edi Rama signed the agreement with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the purchase of three "Bayraktar" drones.
