It is suspected that he raped the minor for 4 years, Edison Sheme is declared

Edison Sheme, who is accused of raping a minor for 4 years in Maliq, has been declared an international wanted man.

Sheme is suspected to have fled to the Greek state where his brother has been living for years. The police have carried out checks in the homes of his relatives and friends in several villages of Korça, but to no avail.

After the information collected by the police, the Prosecutor's Office of Korça issued an international search warrant for Edison Sheme, an order which was forwarded to Interpol Tirana to follow international search procedures, as well as communicating with counterparts to reach the arrest of the 43-year-old.

The serious incident was registered about 1 week ago in the village of Sheqeras in Maliqi, after the 16-year-old minor reported to the police the abuse that the 43-year-old man did to her since she was 12 years old.
