Other shocking details have come to light from the investigation into the murder of 22-year-old Albanian-origin Ilaria Sula, an event that shocked public opinion in Italy. In the decision of Judge Antonella Minunni, who ordered the arrest of the suspected perpetrator, 23-year-old Filipino Mark Samson, a disturbing fact is highlighted: his cold attitude and extraordinary self-control after the crime.

According to the official document, although Mark Samson had previously stated that he could not live without Ilaria and that he could not imagine life without her, after committing the brutal act, he managed to manage the situation with frightening calm. "What is striking is the strong and clear self-control, especially in the phase after the murder of Ilaria. Although he had previously stated that he could not live without her, he immediately returned to normal after the act," the court decision states.

Samson has tried to justify his actions by calling the murder a "gesture of anger and jealousy," while claiming that he was under great pressure to achieve good results at university.
