The former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, asked the Special Court to partially repeat the act of expertise on the economic and financial damage of the "Gërdeci" case.
According to Mediu's lawyers, the experts did not take into account a document of Poliçan's mechanical plant, from 2007, where the costs of dismantling the ammunition are calculated, considering its data to be falsified.
Lawyer Henrik Ligori said in front of the court that three officials of the combine were criminally charged on suspicion of forgery, but then the Berat court, the Vlora Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court dismissed the charges against them.
The lawyer asked the court to take the three court decisions as evidence and to order the performance of a new partial expert report.
