The 'Toyota Yaris' case/ SPAK sends letter of order to France and

The Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) has asked France and Belgium to identify the SKY ECC application codes for the "Toyota Yaris" case where 3.4 million euros were found.

The order letter was sent after the arrest of the chief prosecutor of Vlora, Aurel Zarka, as there are suspicions about officials and former officials of the justice system as being implicated.

According to SPAK, it is about influencing justice officials to ease the "Toyota Yaris" file, since an investigation into a criminal group and money laundering of 3.4 million euros was closed with a conviction for failure to declare income at the border.

We remind you that in June 2018, the seizure of almost 3.4 million euros took place in the port of Durrës, an issue that sparked the interplay of organized crime with the world of politics in Albania.

The money was found on the morning of June 24 divided into 3,336,700 euros and 80,000 Swiss francs and hidden in the upholstery of the side doors of two cars imported from Belgium.
