Garo reveals details of the PD protest

The spokesperson of the Democratic Party, Florjana Garo, has revealed details of the protest that the Democratic Party is expected to hold on October 7.

Garo emphasized that there will be no violence in the protest, but democratic methods and forms of protest will be used.

" The case of Mr. Berisha, who remains locked up in his house without charge, in addition to this, also the case of Mr. Salianji, so a series of components have been made since the protests that continue in the Democratic Party. I believe that October 7 will be a peak of this situation.

Of course, we are not talking about violence, but we are talking about democratic methods of protesting. We do not believe in weapons, we are not such a party. But we want our voice to be heard and to leave that sign that we are here and we want to defend democracy with anyone ," said Garo to Euronews Albania.

Garo added that in the protest there will be no speeches or people who will lead it, but it will be the democrats themselves who will organize it. 

 "What I can tell you is that this time the protest will be organized by the protesters themselves. There will be no leader at the head of the protest and this is the difference from other protests. If in the other protests there were speeches and a more concise organization, this time it is the democrats themselves who will organize the protest as they feel. This change happened after the boiling point came," she concluded.
