GJKKO leaves Dedan Gjon, Erzen Breçan and two others in prison

GJKKO has left in force the "prison arrest" decision for Dedan Gjon, Erzen Breçan, Bujar Ajeti and Besmir Murat.

They are accused of being part of a criminal group that trafficked drugs from Latin America. All four were handcuffed after the Sky ECC app intercepted and hacked the conversations.

"The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of judge Engert Pëllumbi, today 01.04.2024, at 09:00, announced the decision on criminal case no. 61 act, date 26.12.2023 registration, registered on the complaint of persons under investigation BM, BA, D.Gj. and EB, with object: "Appeal against decision no. 128, dated 23.11.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, verified by decision no. 128, dated 23.11.2023, of this court" that has disposed of personal security measures, and decided:

Approval of decision no. 124, dated 17.11.2023, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, verified by decision no. 128, dated 23.11.2023, of this court;

Against this decision, an appeal can be made to the Supreme Court, within 45 (forty-five) days from the day after its notification" , the announcement states.
