Historical/ The first Orthodox mass in Albanian is held in Podujevë

On November 28, 2023, for the first time in the history of Kosovo, the First Orthodox Mass in Albanian was held in the Municipality of Podujeva, the village of Rakinicë, and precisely in the Church of Saint Mihaill!

Present at this historic event were representatives of the Municipality, representatives of the Conservative Party, representatives of various religious beliefs, etc.

Starting today, this church with its old name established by the Serbs "St. Mihaill", has been renamed by the decision of the Albanian National Church to "Mr. Fan Noli Church"!

Today's historical date should be remembered for many centuries, because today the Fan Noli Albanian National Church was founded in Kosovo in the municipality of Podujeva.

The 500-year-old church now with its name "Fan Noli" from today passes to the jurisdiction of the Albanian National Orthodox Church "Saint Kozmai" Elbasan.
