The Greek police have detained an Albanian wanted at the Kakavija border crossing point.
Kreshnik Brakaj, 39 years old, from Novosela, Vlora, was arrested yesterday afternoon.
According to the Greek police, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison and a 3000 euro fine by the Court of Appeal of Central-Western Greece, given on June 4, 2015 for "violation of the law on narcotics
The Albanian was detained during the verification of his passport, while the documentation is expected to be handed over to the Prosecution of Ioannina.
