A serious case occurred in Elbasan, where two local SP officials raped a young man simply for denouncing the miserable street in his village, the 'Little Police'.

The complaint was made by the candidate for MP in Elbasan, Bledi Himçi, who writes that the police have not taken any measures.

A shocking and unacceptable event occurred today in Elbasan.

Fatjon Coga, an honest citizen and member of the Democratic Party, was barbarically raped simply because he had the courage to publicly denounce the deplorable condition of 'Polisi i Vogël' street on his social network Facebook.

The violent attack on him was carried out by the mayor Klodian Pepa and his cousin Nazmi Muzhaqi. The violence is an open attack on freedom of speech and an alarm signal for the total capture of institutions by local crime.

Even more worrying is the scandalous behavior of the Elbasan Police. Although the DP member has reported the violence against him to the police, the two aggressors in power have been released by the police, showing that justice in Elbasan has become a tool of the corrupt government.

This is a pure political act of revenge. An act of cowards who have lost all connection with law, morality, and citizenship.

I call on the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office to immediately launch investigations against the perpetrators of this criminal event and against every police officer, especially the Chief of the Elbasan Police Station, who has become a party to the crime. Silence and inaction are complicity.

We, the Democratic Party, are and will remain by the side of ordinary citizens, who only seek dignity and an Albania without violence, without crime, without terror.

These powerful thugs may use violence today, but they will not be able to stop the unstoppable march of citizens towards change!
