The Greek police have arrested a 38-year-old Albanian man, announced as an international wanted man.
The 38-year-old was spotted while driving his car and was arrested, after it was found that he did not have a license. In the subsequent preliminary investigation at the local police station, it was revealed, referring to his testimony, that he had an outstanding warrant issued by the authorities in his country, Greek media wrote.
In fact, according to the arrest warrant, last October he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempted murder. Thus, the 38-year-old was sent to the Prosecutor's Office of Crete, which is starting the procedures for his extradition to Albania, which was looking for him.
