Missing for several days, 40-year-old man found dead in Mushqeta Lake

A 40-year-old man in Tirana was found drowned in Lake Mushqeta.

It is learned that the victim had been reported missing since March 8. It is suspected that the 48-year-old drowned himself in the lake.

"Following the preliminary information provided on 14.03.2025, regarding the removal from the apartment of citizen IV, 40 years old, we would like to inform you that: This morning, this citizen was found dead in Lake Mushqeta, near his apartment. It is initially suspected that this citizen committed suicide. The investigative group is working to clarify and document the circumstances of the case ," the police statement said.
