Former Prime Minister Fatos Nano has been hospitalized again after undergoing surgery after breaking his leg.
The intervention was completed with the installation of a partial prosthesis on the leg, after an injury suffered under unclear circumstances.
Nano will continue his stay in the hospital for a full rehabilitation period, according to the doctors' instructions.
We recall that the former prime minister was admitted to a private hospital in Tirana yesterday afternoon.
This is not the first health incident for Nano, who about a year ago spent several weeks intubated due to a pulmonary complication.
He underwent intubation to treat a chronic lung disease known as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). At that time, his condition was very serious, but thanks to the care of the doctors, he managed to overcome that health crisis.
