Threatened his wife and son with a machete, 48-year-old arrested in Tirana

A 48-year-old man in Tirana has been arrested after threatening his wife and son with a machete.

The serious incident that was prevented occurred on Wednesday evening. From the verifications, it results that the 48-year-old was currently under the security measure "house arrest".

"The services of Police Commissariat No. 6 have just been notified that last night, in an apartment on "Haki Stërmilli" street, a citizen was threatening his family members, for their lives, with a cutting tool (machete), they have gone to the scene.

As a result of professional police intervention, the criminal incident in this family was prevented, and the suspected perpetrator of the case, citizen EB, 48 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

Further verifications regarding the case revealed that the 48-year-old was currently under house arrest for the criminal offense of "Theft ," the announcement states.
