Ex-policeman from Saranda caught with drugs in Scotland

A former policeman from Saranda has been arrested by the authorities in Scotland after being accused of cultivating narcotics.

It is about the citizen Igli Duka, 24 years old, who was caught by the authorities in a former garage building in Houston Industrial Estate, in Livingston, while taking care of dozens of cannabis plants, writes the BBC.

His lawyer, Andy Aitken, claimed that a notorious gangster originally from Albania, who the Duke had previously arrested in his country, had blackmailed him into being the "gardener" for the cannabis farm. Duke said the gangster had threatened his family after being released from police custody.

The lawyer stated before the investigators that Duke was given the choice to take care of the cannabis farm or face serious consequences for his family in Albania.
