He asked for freedom, GJKKO leaves the head of IKMT Saranda in prison

The Special Court has rejected the request of the inspector of IKMT Saranda, Julian Preni, who requested the replacement of the security measure 'prison arrest' with a lighter measure.

According to SPAK's investigations, in March 2020, Julian Preni, on duty at that time - head of IKMT, Sarandë branch, asked Foti Doda for 7,500 Euros, in order not to destroy the building he had built on Ksamil beach.

NOTICE OF GJKKO:

Applicant Julian Preni on 16.05.2024, No. 297 of the Fundamental Reg., submitted to the Court the request with the object: Replacement of the security measure "Arrest in prison" determined by decision no. 115 dated 25.10.2024 of the Court of First Instance against Corruption and Organized Crime, with a milder measure.

At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, and with a panel composed of judges Erjon Çela, Elteva Deda and Erjon Bani, with decision No. 297, dated 21.05.2024 decided:

Dismissal of the request of the applicant/defendant Julian Preni.

An appeal can be made against this decision within 5 days, in the Special Court of Appeals Against Corruption and Organized Crime, which period will start from the day of notification of the decision.
