Lala: Balla was tapped for more than 48 hours, the court ordered to delete the

Journalist Klodiana Lala stated that Taulant Balla was kept under surveillance for more than 48 hours, as she stated that several numbers were intercepted after the massacre in Elbasan in 2016.

Invited to Syri TV, Lala added that Albanian justice is under the tutelage of politics, since in the case of Balla the court ordered to delete the server at the General Prosecutor's Office.

"The news in our country is not that a politician was tapped. A citizen named Taulant was tapped, according to verifications after the event of February 3, 2013, where three people were killed, the target being the Çapja family member, the prosecution referred to a long list of numbers phones that should be tapped because they could provide data of interest to the investigation.

Among these numbers are some numbers that communicated with Ardian Çapjan after the massacre. Among the numbers is a number with 339 at the end, I am not saying it in full for ethical reasons. This number in the court's decision does not appear to have been identified as Taulant Balla, but it is said that it belongs to a citizen named Taulant.

There is no information about this citizen in the decision. The number belongs to Mr. Balla, but the Prosecutor's Office, which had the power to identify him, should address the Assembly if it found facts. No further verification was done.

Albanian justice is under the tutelage of politics. Balla's number was kept on hold for more than 48 hours. The court has ordered to delete the server in the General Prosecutor's Office. How can this happen ?" said Lala.
