Movement in Tirana Police / Crime, road and urban traffic sectors affected

A series of changes have recently been made in the ranks of the Tirana Police, affecting the crime, road police and urban traffic structures. Sources for News24 indicate that the changes include rotations and transfers of several important leaders and officers to various police stations in the capital.

More specifically, the chief of crimes at Police Station No. 5 has been transferred to the Vora Police Station, while his counterpart from Vora has moved to Police Station No. 5. Meanwhile, the chief of crimes at Police Station No. 1 has been transferred to the Tirana Traffic Police, specifically to the accident investigation sector.

Movements have also been registered in the structures of the Traffic Police of the capital. Around 20 officers of the lines and traffic units have been transferred, including 4 commanders of these units. Among the most prominent is the movement of the head of urban traffic, Jetnor Shira, who has been replaced by Megian Ademaj.

Also, several judicial police officers (OPGJ) have been transferred to other sectors within the Tirana Traffic Police.

So far, no official reasons have been announced for these changes, which come at a time when road safety and traffic management in the capital are in focus due to the increase in accidents and traffic congestion.
