The builder did not finish the palace, 80 families for 17 years without

The building is located in neighborhood 13, in Durrës. The building was built by the Fat-Bel company, with owner Bajram Gashi. The death of the owner of the company, in 2013, has left about 80 families who have bought apartments in these two buildings at the mercy of fate. As it results from the data of the National Business Center, the company has passed on to Gashi's children and wife.

In recent years, the company has a series of seizure decisions on its assets, due to numerous debts. The Municipality of Durrës and the Real Estate Registration Office (Mortgage) are aware of the situation, but have not yet offered any solution to the residents. The palace has been left at the mercy of fate in terms of works in the common areas.

Due to the problems that have accompanied them for almost two decades, a large part of the residents have chosen not to reside in it. This has also made it difficult to apply for legalization privately, as the law requires that at least 70% of residents must apply.

The problem that Eva faces is an old wound that has haunted thousands of citizens in Tirana, Durrës, Vlora, Korça, Lezha or Saranda - wherever there has been new construction.

Since 2005, when the massive construction of building blocks began, the construction sector, in addition to becoming an engine for the Albanian economy, has developed in a chaotic way. As a result, the industry has also produced harsh social conflicts at the same pace, due to fraud with the sale of apartments two or more times./ Inside Story, Top Channel
